Nestlé India Tech Leadership Change: Prateek Tripathi to Succeed Krishna Guha Roy

Prateek Tripathi, 45, joined Nestlé in 2019 and has served as data governance lead for Zone AOA of the Nestlé Group since February 2025.

In a significant change in the technology leadership at Nestlé, the current Head - IS/IT and Nestlé Business Excellence (Senior Management Personnel) Krishna Guha Roy has been elevated to another leadership role in the company. Prateek Tripathi, data governance lead for Area of the Americas (Zone AOA) of the Nestlé Group, will succeed her, as per a company release. Tripathi will report to the Chairman and Managing Director of Nestlé India, Manish Tiwary, a company spokesperson told FE FUTECH.

“We wish to inform that Ms. Krishna Guha Roy, Head - IS/ IT & Nestlé Business Excellence (Senior Management Personnel) will be taking on a significant leadership role within the Nestlé group, and Mr. Prateek Tripathi, currently data governance lead for the Zone AOA of Nestlé group, has been nominated to succeed Ms. Krishna Guha Roy, as Head - IS/ IT & Nestlé Business Excellence (Senior Management Personnel) effective April 1, 2026, subject to approvals,” said the company in a filing to the exchanges.

Prateek Tripathi, 45, joined Nestlé in 2019 and currently serves as data governance lead for the Zone AOA of Nestlé group since February 2025. Prior to this role, he has held several key positions at leading organisations such as GE, Citibank, Parle Agro, and Nielsen. Tripathi holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics from Osmania University and a PG Diploma in Business Management from Goa Institute of Management, bringing over 21 years of experience to his role.

Since joining Nestlé in 2019 as data analytics manager, he has rapidly advanced to becoming the driving force behind analytics and data integration in the South Asia region. Tripathi has been instrumental in enforcing compliance with data governance policies and processes and identifying optimization opportunities across Zone AOA. With his extensive expertise and significant contributions to the Nestlé group, Tripathi is well placed to lead the company’s IT function.
