Harsha Chigurupati, Executive Director and Board Member of Granules India, who is responsible for Transformation & Information Technology (IT), has been designated as a Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of the company.
In an exchange filing, the company said: “The Board, at its meeting held on April 29, 2026, designated Mr. Harsha Chigurupati, Executive Director of the company, as a Senior Management Personnel with effect from April 30, 2026, responsible for Transformation & Information Technology, Project Management and Leadership Hiring.”
Harsha Chigurupati, Executive Director at Granules India, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Boston University, US. He has over two decades of entrepreneurial experience across marketing, product development, customer relationship management and operations. He also has extensive experience in research and development, clinical trials, regulatory and legal framework navigation, patents and peer-reviewed journal publications.
Chigurupati has been associated with Granules India since 2005 and has served in various capacities. He was instrumental in commercialising the company’s Finished Dosage Division and transitioning its customer base towards greater brand loyalty. As Executive Director, he is responsible for the company’s standalone operations and profit and loss (P&L).
