By combining AMD’s advanced AI hardware with TCS’ enterprise integration and deployment capabilities, the companies aim to accelerate AI adoption, reduce deployment timelines, and improve operational efficiency for enterprises across sectors.

AMD and Tata Consultancy Services have expanded their strategic partnership to co-develop rack-scale AI infrastructure aimed at supporting India’s national AI ambitions. As part of the partnership, TCS, through its subsidiary HyperVault AI Data Center Limited, will build an AI data center design based on AMD’s “Helios” platform. The solution is intended to help build sovereign AI infrastructure in India, enabling enterprises and institutions to deploy large-scale AI workloads locally.
The Helios platform is powered by AMD Instinct™ MI455X GPUs, next-generation AMD EPYC™ “Venice” CPUs, AMD Pensando™ Vulcano network interface cards, and the open-source ROCm™ software ecosystem. Together, these technologies are designed to deliver high-performance, rack-scale AI computing for training and inference workloads.

Lisa Su, Chair and CEO, AMD, said “AI adoption is accelerating from pilots to large-scale deployments, and that shift requires a new blueprint for compute infrastructure.” She added that the open, rack-scale Helios platform will help enterprises in India deploy AI at scale while building future-ready infrastructure.”
Commenting on the partnership, K. Krithivasan, MD and CEO, Tata Consultancy Services, said “By combining strengths in AI, connectivity and data center engineering, the partnership aims to deliver advanced infrastructure solutions for enterprises and AI companies.”
As part of this collaboration, both companies will offer an AI-ready data center blueprint supporting up to 200 MW of capacity and will work with hyperscalers and AI companies to accelerate data center build-outs in India.
